About Buttercup
The Powerpuff Girls and their handsome brother Joey were safely born in home of their foster carer after their heavily pregnant mother Molly was rescued from a farm on the northern outskirts of Brisbane.
This sweet little family will be ready for new adventures with their forever families in the coming weeks, pending completion of vetwork.
Buttercup may have been the last born in her little family, but has never been behind! Unlike her sister Blossom, Buttercup is pretty much the opposite of her cartoon Powerpuff namesake.
She is soft natured and super sweet. Like her siblings, Buttercup has been ahead of the game at everything! Crawling around at barely more than a day old, eyes open at just 1 week old, and steady on her feet by 2 weeks! And she has not stopped running since!
Buttercup is a very playful little girl, and absolutely loooves her family members. She races around with them and snuggles up when she gets tired, whether it's a sibling or one of the older kitties. Whilst not as quick to affection as her siblings Blossom and Joey, little Buttercup is developing a warmer nature the older she gets. She loves toclimb up on the lounge for a good snuggle & purr session with her carer, and really enjoys a good pat and scratch. She even doesn't mind being picked up for a quick cuddle😊
Buttercup really enjoys company and being an active member of the household, but can get a bit overwhelmed if it gets a bit too loud and busy. Being of a large family, including her older siblings Holly & Ollie, Auntie Milly and cousins (Milo & Lily last 2 remaining) Buttercup's absolute favourite companions are other cats, it doesn't matter what age. She is a little hesitant around lively dogs, but is not fussy when it comes to finding a warm body to snuggle up against 🥰.
As Buttercup thrives on company she is best suited to a house where she will have a friendly little fur-sibling to snuggle up with.
Buttercup has also never been outdoors and her successful forever family will be one who can keep her indoors only, with the exception of harness or a purpose built enclosure. This will ensure she lives the safest, happiest, and healthiest life possible.
If Buttercup sounds like the perfect little companion for you, please contact us to arrange a meet and greet 😊
Medical notes
Buttercup's vetwork will be complete early-mid May when she reaches the appropriate weight range. After which she will be ready to start her new life with her furrever family.
