💗🌸 MEET PHOEBE 🌸💗
Nature
Erm, hello, can you hear me? Am I speaking loud enough? Sorry, Phoebe here, speaking to humans isn’t really my thing, but I am here to give it a go, so I can try and find my forever home.
You see my extended family and I were born in a commercial area, not in a loving home like most kitties. So, whilst we saw humans every day, we had no idea if they were friend or foe. That all ended when a group of rescue people banded together and started rescuing us from our miserable life placing us with loving foster families with Perth Rescue Angels.
Growing up the commercial world must have rubbed off on me as when I was placed with my temporary Foster Mum, I decided her bathroom design was so last season and I couldn’t resist helping her with a little redecorating! Actually, it was because I had just experienced a massive upheaval and change in my life and I was super scared, as I said I didn’t know if humans were friendly or otherwise.
I’ve been in foster care for a while now, but I am still learning that humans are friends. I don’t why I am taking longer than most of my family who have blossomed into sweet, affectionate house kitties who now have families to call their own, I guess we are all just different, aren’t we? However, I am still young, so time is most definitely on my side.
I have the run of the house in my foster home, but I still prefer to hide as I build my confidence and trust in humans. I can get overwhelmed with human contact and I still prefer not to be touched, so I can be unpredictable in my behaviour, it’s only because I am scared, I mean no harm. So, I will need a patient and kindly family, who can respect my need for my own space and spend lots of time sitting with me, talking to me, gaining my trust and teaching me how wonderful it can to be to be loved by a human.
Companions (Children/Cats/Dogs)
I am dependent on other cats so a confident cat friend in my new home is needed to keep me company and to help me continue my house cat education and show me that humans can be great friends. I would prefer a dog and child free home as I feel they would be too loud and scary for me.
Likes/Dislikes
I like other cats, I dislike being touched at this stage.
My PURR-fect home would be a dog and young child free home to begin with as I build my confidence and continue my development. A feline sibling/s is a must.
