Shiva

Looking for a special home for this beautiful old girl, Shiva the Chihuahua.

Shiva has a few medical issues associated with being an older dog. She is on tablets for a renal issue and a heart issue. These will be ongoing we are told.
Otherwise, she is spritely and happy.

We are told she is a fussy eater but we will experiment with a few foods now she is in our care. She has been on Hills KD wet food.

Shiva does like to be with you and not left alone.
So maybe someone who works from home or is retired??
She is ok with dogs and cats etc. Not bothered at all.

Shiva does startle easily as her sight is lacking and would not suit young children who don't understand this, as she may nip.
Best way to pick her up and pat her etc, is slowly, so she can perhaps sniff first and know its coming.
She doesn't mind the touch, its just her reaction to a scare that may make her react defensively.

At a guess, we are thinking Shiva may be 12ish. Maybe a fraction older?

We will consider foster care, preferably with a view to adopt.
