About Gideon
Gideon. The handsome handsome boy.
This sweet 2 year old Kelpie X is quite a small boy. Sitting at roughly 12/13kg in sizing.
But don't let his small size fool you, he has a good amount of energy and loves to play.
He's sweet in nature and could easily share his home with another active doggie friend. Especially if you work full time.
He hasn't shown any interest in jumping fences in his foster home and happily hangs out in the yard during the day. He is crated at night time and sleeps a full night with no accidents and has shown to be good in the house.
He's a cuddly boy so he often climbs up on you for a cuddle and head scratch. But never in a rough way, just because he's no affectionate. So a home looking for a cuddly boy to share the lounge and house with would suit this boy well.
Gideon must be allowed inside with his new family especially at night. He won't cope being an outside only dog.
He may suit being an only dog if someone was home more often than not and kept him well exercised and socialised with the outside world.
He has briefly met cats and wasn't too phased with them and has also been exposed to small breed dogs as tiny as 2.5kg with no issues.
He hasn't met any kids whilst being in care but we think he would be fine with them. He has the sweetest nature around.
Gideon is looking for a home with fencing 5ft and over but rural fencing and acreage homes will be approved for the right home as well.
Gideon is located in the lower hunter valley and his adoption fee is $500. He is ready to leave for his new home now and he's hoping it doesn't take too long to find them.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
