About Cooper
Cooper is a very friendly boy who absolutely loves snuggles. He likes to lean on people and lie across you, he thinks he’s a lap dog!
Cooper has been doing really well with training whilst in foster care and he is very food motivated. Cooper can now sit and drop and is now learning to stay and working on recall.
Cooper is very strong on lead and his foster carer has been working on this while he has been in care. Cooper will need a confident owner who is willing to work with him on improving this.
Cooper has displayed some resource guarding behaviours so this is also something his new owners will need to be happy to work with him on.
Cooper loves to play with other dogs and would suit a home with a relaxed companion. Cooper is not good with cats and can be quite boisterous so recommend a home with older children.
Cooper would prefer a home where he can spend most of his time with his humans as he can be a little bit anxious when being left for long periods of time.
Coopers foster mum says he will make a great dog for someone who has is willing to put in the time to train him.
