Of all the kittens in his litter, Lotus stood out for all the right reasons – this little boy is the most calm and serene among them all.

While his brothers and sisters spend most of their waking time playing with each other, wrestling and chasing one another, Lotus prefers to seek out the warm lap of his foster carer and enjoy quiet time being patted.

With his lovely purr (which he uses a lot), Lotus radiates peace and serenity in his quiet, knowing way. We think he’s an old soul in a kitten’s body!

Lotus is zen for pretty much most of the time, occasionally joining in during playtime with the other cats in foster care. But mostly he prefers to interact with the people around him, gently falling off to sleep as you pat him and tell him how handsome he is.

Lotus has lovely white and tabby markings and a very sweet face. Lotus is an intelligent kitten who will give you long loving stares and will trot over to you whenever he notices you are looking at him.

While Lotus does occasionally like to play and chase the red laser dot or attack a fishing rod toy, he’s pretty content to sit on the sidelines and watch the activities of others. As the weather gets cooler you will find Lotus on something warm – he is very fond of heated blankets and will snuggle on you to drift off to kitten dreamland.

Lotus would be perfect in a home that is mostly calm. He is a non-dominant cat so will fit in well if you already have a cat. But he would also be fine being the only kitty in the home. Lotus is not tested on dogs and would likely find them too boisterous.

Lotus would be just as content living in an apartment as would in a house, but he will need to have someone around for a fair chunk of the day, given how much he seeks out and enjoys the company of people.

Lotus will take a little time to warm to a new person but he knows that people bring happiness, so it won’t take long to forge a lovely strong bond with this adorable little guy. Because of his white face colouring, Lotus will need to be indoors-only kitty.
