Hi, I'm a beautiful and affectionate girl just looking for a family to love me. I am super smart and have basic training; I would love a pawrent who will engage my mind and help me learn even more.

I love being active, so if you want to include me in your outdoor adventures I'm right there with you. The question is, can you keep up with me? My recall is OK and with some training I'll be an amazing hiking, beaching or camping buddy. I walk nicely on lead with a harness and am good at keeping pace if you want a running partner.

I like having a job to do most of the time. I can be a little pushy if I don't get my walk. I have some instinctual protective tendencies that cause me to patrol the yard most of the day, particularly if you're outside with me - I just really like knowing the yard and you are safe! I will also alert you to noises around the house, but I will greet guests with love.

I really like cats. I just want to play with them! Right now I live with a bully who tells me off when I want to play! This is the only cat I have met, but I like him.
Dogs scare me... If they come into my space, either past the yard or on a walk, I will react with mean barking to make them go away. My foster mum has been working on this with me, and I would love a forever home who will engage a trainer to help further the progress.

I love to play with my toys, I love to go for rides in the car and I love belly rubs.

I can be left alone if you have stuff to do, it's not my favourite thing, but I can agree to it. I'll just do a couple of patrols around the yard until you need me again for a cuddle.

Our dogs available for adoption are all living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an Expression of Interest Form via the above link, you will receive a response within 14 days. Please check your 'Junk and Spam' folder.

Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. If the dog is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.

Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
