About Bruce DL2652
We're pretty certain RBF stands for Resting Bruce Face. But you can't take our Bruce that seriously, he's really a big baby!
Bruce is an affectionate boy and loves burying his head in your lap for a hug or snuggling up for a snore sesh in front of the TV.
Bruce is eager to please and will be well matched with a strong and confident dog owner who can take the lead and give Bruce firm direction (both in and out of the home).
He enjoys twice daily walks or runs; he is used to traffic now and is no bother to other dogs on walks, no matter what they say to him. He loves treats and can always sniff them out.
At first, he and the resident cat weren't too sure of each other, but now they bump heads and say hello. There’s still some chasing but it’s for play. Of course, he will need slow introductions to any cats, and interactions should continue to be supervised.
A clever and inquisitive boy, Bruce will be an ideal match for an active owner with a nice big yard to run around in. Keep him out of mischief with lots of toys and walks and activities and games. He loves having space to leap and bound and throw his ball around.
Bruce is a teenager, so can be excitable and is still learning his manners around new people. He can also become quite timid, so you'll need to work on this with him. He is super smart and will continue to learn. He is currently the only dog at home, and may be best suited to a home without young kids.
If you'd love to meet Bruce, email our team at DFLrescue@gmail.com today to apply.
Medical notes
Bruce takes two medications daily to control his allergies. He has an eye irritation that will be checked out by our vet prior to adoption. His legs appear swollen but no cause has been found by the vet at this stage.
