About Buttercup DL2656
The beautiful and vibrant Buttercup is a delightful dork.
She is an absolute joy to have around. She is the happiest girl we have ever met. She doesn't just wag her tail, but her whole body!
She's so excited just to be with you and will make you laugh with her excited talking. Boy, does she have things to tell you when she gets going with her wooowooos!! She is still learning not to jump up in her excitement, but she is super smart.
She is very responsive to learning new things and picks up new cues quickly. She walks well on lead, just gets excited to see other dogs and pulls towards them, but she responds well to corrections. She currently lives with other dogs and she loves to play, she just needs some help to harness her enthusiasm as she likes to play hard!
Buttercup will need a home where she can be allowed to stay indoors, as she becomes anxious when left in the yard alone. She loves her indoor crate and is happy to stay in there while you pop out. You'll need some time and patience to help build up her confidence outside.
With Buttercup's zest for life, she's best suited to family members 10yrs+, and she's not suited to a home with cats. She is, however, suited to lots of pats and treats!
If you'd love to meet our favourite bundle of sunshine, email DFLadoption@gmail.com to apply.
Medical notes
At ~24kg, Buttercup is a medium to large sized dog.
