About Coco
The gorgeous Coco is seeking her forever home. She is a sweet Bull Arab x Pointer. Although just a puppy, this already gentle giant weighing 22 kilos we feel she will be a large size at full growth
Coco is a very affectionate, sweet girl who loves napping in the sunniest spot of the backyard; and loves to play outside with her foster family. Once she opens up to people, she is extremely caring and loyal, and is a good listener, especially when treats are involved. Coco has the most incredible coat and colour; she sheds small amounts here and there but luckily a light brush does the trick. On her daily walks, she will always be looking out for other humans and dogs to become friends with. Over recent weeks, she has learnt to feel comfortable with strangers she encounters on her walks, and everyone always stops to admire how gentle she is with others. Obedience: Coco has become great at listening and sitting on command. She does love to collect sticks and bark from around the yard; but when she has ample toys, kongs and pigs’ ears to chew, the sticks and bark no longer faze her. Coco has recently learnt of her love for tug-of-war and is always looking for a human to play with. We believe her to be a very fast learner and with persistent training she will be excellent at learning new commands. Coco really hasn’t been any trouble at all, she is a well-natured and independent dog, with such a lovely temperament. Enrichment: Coco is a very quiet dog, so far, no sound has ever been heard from her; no barking or whining as of yet.. When she hears sounds from nearby birds and animals, she will always go and investigate but never vocally alert us of any danger. This pup loves to chew, when she is left alone for too long without some new toys she does tend to chew up and collect sticks. However, with daily walks and new toys around she is absolutely delightful and so well behaved. Coco isn’t overly active either, daily exercise is necessary, she is prone to getting a little chunky!Sleeping: she is an outside dog and does tend to thrive from being outside as she is quite good at being on her own. She loves her naps, usually after a play she tires quite quickly and will go straight to a nap in her kennel or a sunny spot. Socialisation: Coco has encountered numerous dogs over the past 3 weeks with her foster family, and we have found that gradually she has gained lots of confidence being near them. When with another dog, she is very playful and confident, but she is definitely not an aggressive dog at all and is good at listening to cues if another dog no longer wants to play. Coco is currently living with 4 adults: two males and two females. She equally loves all of her foster family and wags her tail happily at their presence. We feel that Coco would be suited to both an only-dog home as well as a home with another dog. We find that she receives more exercise and stimulation that she needs when another dog is around as playing with just humans often bores her. However, with the right training and mental stimulation she is well-suited as an only dog as well. Food: Coco currently eats 2 scoops of puppy food in the morning and 3 cups in the afternoon/night. She loves having treats and will always know to sit before receiving any food. . She is often always clean due to her coat. ChildrenWe have had Coco with children aged over 10 and she enjoyed their company Ideal home: Coco would absolutely love to be in a home where she will be a part of her new family and given a good daily walk and play She does thrive as an outside dog, however as an inside dog she will need to be regularly let outside to give her freedom to run around. Coco will need to go to a family, preferably with teenagers or adults, that will put in training to ensure she listens and follows commands. Once this gorgeous canine is prop
