About Norm
Introducing Norm! A sweet 7 month old, black & tan kelpie that just loves life and everything that goes with it. He is a confident and playful young dog and loves nothing more than to be included in daily farm activities and to play with his foster siblings.
During his time in foster care, he has really come out of his shell and is showing to be an eager pupil and a quick learner. He has learned to sit, walk on a lead, know his name and he is learning to wait for his meals and is learning recall. His favourite things to do are play tug of war and wrestle with his foster brother, practice his obedience and round up sheep. When the day is over, he curls up on his bed and settles down for the night.
While in foster care he hasn't been tested with cats or small animals but has had some social interaction with children and coped very well with the experience. He isn't fond of travelling in the car and has experienced travel sickness on long trips.
Being a young kelpie, Norm is no couch potato and will be best suited to a country lifestyle where he has space to move, can be part of the family (with older children) or active couple, and will be given lots of things to do to keep his kelpie mind stimulated. He will also benefit from the companionship of an older doggy sibling.
His new home will certainly need to be one that will continue his training & education, understands the needs of working breed dogs and be prepared to give him the mental stimulation that his breed needs.
If you think you'd like to include Norm in your life don't delay, apply today!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
