About Souky - Located in Bundoora
He’s a sweet and quiet boy who loves human interactions and wants all the love and attention to himself. He likes to take his everyday’s power naps in his favourite igloo but loves to steal your bed or your lap to have his beauty sleep. He enjoys his little sunbathing and loves rolling on his back. He would prefer to be the only pet in the household.
He must also be kept indoors due to his medical history. Please see medical notes.

Medical notes
The adoption fee includes de-sexing, micro-chip, current vaccination, flea and worm treatment while in care.
Souky is FIV positive. There is some great information about adopting an FIV positive cat at http://www.vetstreet.com/our-pet-experts/why-this-vet-thinks-fiv-positive-cats-make-great-adoptees
or when making an enquiry about Souky, feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Souky has a Grade 2 Heart Murmur. This murmur is currently causing him no issues but 6 monthly health checks are recommended to monitor incase this changes.
Souky, like many FIV positive cats, has dental disease. His teeth have recently been cleaned and we recommend a regular dental regime such as a dental diet or brushing his teeth a few times a week to help keep the dental disease from progressing.
No other known health issues.
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue would like to help ensure you and your new companion/s have a long and happy life together. Please be advised that if you should find that you are not a purrfect match, or if you need to rehome your new pet at any stage of its life, Maneki Neko Cat Rescue will take the cat back into care and find a new home.
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue provides a 7 day health warranty on all adoptions. Although all our cats and kittens are health checked prior to adoption, sometimes the stress of a new environment can upset their immune system.
