2. You either work from home or are home more often then not.
3. You do not have children under the age of 10 living with you
All these requirements are for Lexi's needs.
Hi, my name is Lexi, but my foster mum calls me her little lovebug – she says I am just the most beautiful girl who is literally living her best life.
I am sooooo happy all the time and foster ma says I am a “joy” to have and love. I live and sleep inside with my human family and never have any accidents because I know how to use the dog door day and night.
I have three fur siblings in my foster house – a Staffy, and two chihuahuas, I love them all. I could never imagine life as an only dog, foster mum says not to worry as she will make sure my new home has other siblings for me to play with.
Have I mentioned how much I love food, well let me tell you …. I lurve my food. In my current house foster ma cooks for us all so we are well fed, and man do I love that, and treats mmmmm I do love treats too.
I can be very nervous with new people and surroundings and I do not like a lot or loud noises.
I came into care very very scared and nervous and not at all used to a family home life - It has taken me time for me to settle in here so my new home will need to be similar to my current home. That means I need to be with someone who works from home during the day or who is home more often then not and if there are any children, they need to be 10 years old or older - this is simply as loud noises make me very nervous.
I enjoy sleeping inside and have taken over the crate under my foster dad's desk to snooze in while he works - if he is making too much noise I just up my snoring.
All in all, my life is good and anyone who spends time with me tells me I am just a happy loving girl - now it’s my time to find my furever home. I have so much love to give – do you have room in your heart for me?

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
