There is a very good reason that Mercedes is named after a luxury sports car – she’s stylish, racy and her little purr engine is world class.

Mercedes is an exceptionally pretty girl who has lots of get up and go. Not one to spend all her time kitten napping, Mercedes likes to stretch her legs and run about the house, dashing from room to room and zooming up and down the hallway.

Mercedes is a very intelligent kitten who likes to keep herself entertained but is delighted if you join in the fun too. She’s a hot favourite to catch the red laser light dot and she is super quick to grab anything dangled in front of her, so fishing rod toys are a source of great joy to her.

Mercedes can be shy with new people and will take time to warm up in her new home. She is a very sweet girl when it’s time to be quiet but she also has a lot of energy to burn, so she needs a home that will respect her need for speed.

Mercedes would be okay with children but is still learning to manage her claws and teeth so she would not suit a home with babies or toddlers.

When Mercedes does decide it’s time to put on the brakes and rest her engine, you will find she is ready for a cuddle on a warm lap or she'll curl up on a cat bed away from all the hustle and bustle. She’s as comfortable with people as she is on her own.

Having had the run of her foster carer’s home, Mercedes would suit a home where she will get plenty of interaction when she wants it.

She has been in care with other cats and kittens so she might do well in a home that already has a cat. She would also be fine being your one-and-only pet. Mercedes is untested on dogs and we do not recommend she goes to a home with a dog.
