About Matteo
It's his time and Matteo can't wait.
Handsome and large, this boy is as soft as a butterfly and thinks he's a lap dog!
Great with other dogs, male and female and of all sizes. He would make a great addition to a family with an existing dog. He does think he's a ladies man and tries his hardest to be a smooze.
But shh don't tell him that it's not working.
He may suit being an only dog in a home with someone home more often than not but wouldn't suit this if you're a full time worker.
He's been around dogs as small as 2.5kg and as large as 60 kilos and he's been fantastic with all. He's even met cats and was so very confused by the swipe when he wanted to say hi.
Matteo isn't aware that he's a large boy, he's already 46kg at 10 months of age and has at least 2 years of growing left. So a home looking for a giant will be essential.
He will need a home willing to continue his socialisation and training as he can be a little slow with learning. But he doesn't mean any harm and honestly doesn't have a mean bone in his body.
He would suit a home with dog savvy kids who can handle a giant boy. He's still a puppy at heart.
He will need a home willing to allow him inside at night throughout his life. He's already crate trained and loves his bed time, a snooze is his favourite!
His new home will need fencing 5ft and over but he may suit rural fencing for the right home.
A daily walk will be essential and a home confident with handling a large sized boy.
His adoption fee is $550 and he's ready to leave for his new home now. He's a handsome great Dane X and we believe will be at least 60kg fully grown. He's located in private foster care in the lower hunter valley and he's hoping he doesn't have to wait long!
Please no interstate adoptions. NSW or ACT only.
No apartments.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
