About Rocko
I came into the care of BARRC with my brother, Otto. We originate from a semi-rural property and the excitement of chasing the geese was just too inviting and we struggled to control the passion of a good ole game of catch the bird. On this property we were outside dogs but oh my gosh!! the world of indoor lounge smooches is even more inviting than 'catch the bird'. I loves it!
So I am learning to toilet outside and be respectful indoors. I love being with my people but am not as needy as my brother, a good belly rub and you win me over in an instant. Something else that is quite new to me, is wearing a collar and walking on a lead. Whoa dude..those things are freaky but fun, so if you can bare with me a little longer and teach me how to walk attached to this rope thingy, I am sure we will enjoy our exercise together quite smoothly.
I recon kids will probably enjoy my company ,I am well mannered and don't jump up on people. There is lots of learning to be done yet but boy oh boy, those treats I get for doing the right thing are so worth learning all these new rules. I don't mind the company of other dogs, however,a home on my own whilst I am continuing to learn to socialise with other dogs away from my brother, might be the best fit. Then you can have all of me to yourself.
If you have time, enjoy lots of exercise and can commit to my ongoing training, I am the boy for you. Initially I will miss my brother but he agrees we should go our separate ways now that we are a year old and head off to explore more of the big wide world independent of each other.
