A little about gorgeous Bluesy. She was very hand shy and nervous when she came into care, but she has slowly learned to trust her humans again. Occasionally she will run backwards and bark if she is confused or thinks she is in trouble. A calm, gentle and positive approach with Bluesys training is essential to help her learn about all the wonders that the world has to offer.
She is a gorgeous girl with a sweet personality but when she settles in, her cheeky side comes out and if she thinks she can push the limits she will. She will be best suited to someone who is dog savvy and committed to continuing on with her socialisation and training.
She is a typical energetic boisterous pup with long gangly legs , who loves nothing better than to run and play! Unfortunately her coordination isn’t the best with only vision from one eye, so would not be suitable for young children as she will run/jump on them.
She doesn’t like being left outside for too long by herself, so ideally will need to be in a home with indoor outdoor access and where her humans are home more often then not. She would love a doggy friend but they would need to be calm and tolerant enough to deal with a full on puppy who likes to grab ears and legs, jump and sit on them when playing. If Bluesy was to be rehomed as an only dog, she would need to go to a home that would make her the centre of their world and can offer her regular structured socialisation with other dogs and lots of physical and mental stimulation.
Bluesy is still learning with her toilet training - and hasn’t quite grasped to head outside if she needs to go, so must be prepared for some accidents and to continue on with her training , in saying this she sleeps all night in her crate without any accidents - so she is almost there! She loves her food but has learnt manners around her bowl.
This girl has been through a lot , and now deserves to find herself a perfect household to call her own .
If you think you can be her new people and offer this stunning girl what she needs please apply using the link below.

Bluesy is completely blind in her left eye, she will need eye drops and many check ups with an eye specialist for the rest of her life in order to help prevent any further problems.
While her eye remains healthy and pain free she can keep her eye, however if at any time it starts to deteriorate, it may need to be removed.
She also suffers from doggy conjunctivitis in both eyes usually caused by allergies, At this stage it is being managed by regular cleaning and eye drops.
If conjunctivitis problem worsens, she may require eye surgery to help ease the symptoms for her.
