Lacey

Lacey is a gorgeous two year old who came into care with four newborn kittens.
Lacey came from a horrible situation where she was living amongst a massive colony of cats that weren’t adequately cared for and hadn’t had much human handling at all. When we first saw Lacey - her kittens were quite unwell and infested with fleas - and even though Lacey had minimal human contact she let us grab her and her kittens and take them into care.
Thankfully three of her four kittens made a full recovery, but unfortunately despite the best care her fourth little kitten had to be put to sleep.
Lacey has been a amazing mum, but now it’s time for her to find her own forever home.
In the past several weeks Lacey has gone from hating being touched, too absolutely craving the attention!
Lacey is currently in care with other cats - and we believe she needs to go into a home with one other cat at least - as she simply loves the company of other cats.
Lacey is also in care with a couple of large dogs who she loves. However being that in her prior situation on the rural property she got regularly chased by the dog on the premises - so she does take a little bit to get comfortable with dogs.
Lacey has also discovered the wide variety of human food! So say goodbye to peaceful meal times where you got to sit in and eat your food in peace - as Lacey will be right there watching you! And of course if you take your eyes off your food for two seconds even if it’s in your hand she will quite happily sneak up and take a bite!
Lacey has a gorgeous nature and has so much love to give to her new family.
