About Abilene
Abilene is another shy little sugar plum who has been quietly waiting way too long for that home of hers. 7 long months of shelter life is Abilene’s story. 7 long months of hoping nobody notices her, snuggled away in her cat condo, and being a purr-fect pretty princess. Good things come to those who wait, and that is what we are praying for our Abilene. Gentle soul and purr-fect puss who radiates beauty and grace pretty much sums up little Abilene. She’s had a rough trot in her long and boring shelter stay. Moving in as a single mum with a team of babies in tow, then a long stint stuck in quarantine, and 7 months later still no family or home to call her own. Abilene is a shy little lady who has a world of potential to be someone’s feline bestie, she just needs that love, patience and support to help her shine like the gorgeous rainbow she was born to be. Not just a pretty face, Abilene is a gentle soul with a beautiful nature who just needs a chance. There is just something about her soul that makes you feel peaceful and happy when giving her a pat and some treats. From street cat to people puss, she has come an incredibly long way while raising her little family and waiting 7 long months at the shelter, and we could not be more proud of our brave amazing girl. Abilene may take a little time to settle into family life, a peaceful home would suit her best, and one filled with all the love that she has missed out on so far in her young life. Abilene is not just a cat, she is shining star with a golden heart waiting to meet her soul mate. Even when she has aero plane ears and tries to convince you she is an animal of solitude, we know that Abilene just needs the love and understanding of her special chosen person. First love and first home is what Abilene is waiting for, and that big chance she has sadly never had. We all need a chance in life and after 7 months of shelter life there is not a cat who is more deserving of love and companionship. Take a chance on Abilene, and she will thank you with a lifetime of love, purrs, gratitude and friendship. All Abilene needs is love, and you.
