Lenny

Lenny is not your typical cuddly lap dog. Although he does love to have his humans very close by.

Lenny would benefit from sharing a home with another dog or,in the very least, being socialised on a daily basis with other dogs as he truly loves their company and to play.play.play. He will bark when excited and in play mode, of which we wish to advise in advance.

Lenny has a lot of energy to burn and enjoys an active walk or will trot alongside you at a steady gentle jog.

PLEASE NOTE!!!! Lenny suffers from quite severe separation anxiety. Although in foster care he is learning to separate from his owner for short lengths of time whilst they attend to their shopping or leave the home to visit neighbours, however, his anxiety can lead to destructive behaviour and barking. Owing to this behaviour, we are seeking the perfect match from the start for this chap to reduce shuffling him about more than necessary.

Our dogs available for adoption are all living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an Expression of Interest Form via the above link, you will receive a response within 14 days. Please check your 'Junk and Spam' folder.

Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. If the dog is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.

Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
