About Hugo
HE’S READYYYYY!! 🥳
Our adorable Hugo is looking for his forever home!
Hugo is about 9 months old, sprung from a pound in Central NSW. While information was limited, Hugo appears to be a Staffy Cross, possibly with a Bull Arab.
When he arrived in foster care, this little dude didn’t know any commands but within two days he’d learned to sit and has since picked up going to the loo on command and waiting on his bed for treats. He’s also rapidly picking up loose leash walking and recall. Hugo loves his training, especially if it comes along with a piece of cheese or toast.
He loves a good game of fetch with a ball, (he could play this all day if you gave him the chance) and stealing toys from his foster brother Paddy. Hugo needs a family with a decent sized yard with secure fencing as he loves (and needs) a big run around.
After his exercise he’ll happily curl up on the sofa for naps during the day and sleeps all night.
Hugo would suit a family with older children, simply because he has puppy energy and doesn’t quite know his own body yet.
It will be a requirement that Hugo is allowed to spend his time and sleep inside with his family.
Being such a young and energetic guy, we are looking for a family who will continue with Hugo’s training and who will provide him with lots of exercise and mental stimulation. With consistent boundaries and positive training, Hugo has huge potential. Hugo likes having his family around, so would suit a family who are around more often than not and one with an older but playful larger breed dog to continue to teach him some doggie manners.
Hugo is an absolute cuddle monster and will seek out cuddles if you stand still for long enough. He’s a beautiful and gentle soul with so much love to give.
Hugo is Desexed, Microchipped (900164001878403), Vaccinated, Heartworm negative, Flea, Tick, Worm & Heartworm treated.
He is currently being fostered in Wandin North, VIC.
