On Hold
About Loki ~ 10 week old male (on trial 30/05/2021)
Loki, named after the God of Mischief, lives up to his name!
He is packed full of energy, mischief and fun. Loki has taken a while to become more independent but is now able to confidently play and sleep by himself.
Whilst he has become more independent, he really enjoys (and needs) regular company and is happiest when sleeping or playing just near a feline or human companion. He is definitely best suited to a household where there is another cat friendly cat for him to spend time with or household members at home most of the time.
Loki is currently being fostered in a home and socialising with other foster kittens, 2 adult cats, a lorikeet and has been regularly exposed to primary school aged children. He is fairly confident so after a slow introduction he would be okay in a home with dogs.
Loki loves his food and will let you know if his bowl is empty and will sneak out of his area to eat the big cats food. He uses his litter tray well.
Cats and kittens adopted from Dog Rescue Newcastle must be inside only unless you have a cat enclosure that they can have some outside time in.
Since Loki is too young to be desexed he will need to be adopted locally in the Newcastle, Central Coast or Hunter area so he can be returned to one of our affiliate vets before he is 4 months old for desexing. This is included in his adoption fee as well as microchipping and first kitten vaccination. His adoption fee is $250.
Loki is located in Birmingham Gardens. If you are interested in adopting Loki, please complete the below questionnaire.
