About Opal
A note from my foster dad:
Opal is just the cutest, sweetest, softest little cuddlebug you will ever meet, and she will melt your heart as she politely crawls onto lap with gentle purrs. Her soft white and grey fur is like a tiny blanket, and she will disappear into your arms as she cuddles in for both warmth and comfort. She really is just the sweetest sweetheart, and she is perfect for anyone who is looking for a companion to shower with adoration. Opal is an incredibly amusing kitten to just watch throughout the day as well, as she pounces and trounces about the floor, walking across the room on hind legs as she struggles with a bit of string entwined in her forepaws. She truly is a goofball, but such a sweet and gentle goof that it only compounds the adorableness contained within her tiny self. To further stress just how cute she can be, she sometimes adores being held like a newborn child, with her back and head resting in the crook of your arm as she enjoys chin, chest and belly scratches. She can quite easily fall asleep in this position, once again compounding just how cute she can be. As said before, this kitten will easily melt your heart.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
