About Peridot
A note from my foster dad:
If there was ever a kitten who loved to chirp, Peridot is the one. A hilariously communicative kitten, Peri is constantly astounded by the world around her, constantly chirping and meowing in excitement as she sees you for the first, second, or third time in the day, and hurriedly runs over to see what you are up to. And don't let her curiosity be limited to just yourself, she is excited by everything around her, and is known to make mad dashes into new rooms that she has never been in before. What is great about Peri though is that while she loves the chase, she delights in being caught as well, quickly turning into a bundle of cuddles and purrs as you pick her up to take her to her play area. For Peri, every opportunity is a chance to play, and she is the first to leap and stretch as soon as you enter a room, eager to saunter over and reveal in the attention that she so rightfully deserves. Coupled with her unique torbie fur, which dapples her with beautiful hints of orange throughout her tabby coat, Peri is a unique and delightful kitten that is sure to bring any one untold joy.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
