About Citrine
A note from my foster dad:
Citrine is just the prettiest kitten you have ever seen, and she surely knows it herself. With a poofy white chest, dazzling eyes, and the chubbiest, cherubic kitten cheeks, she is impossible not to pick up and shower with cuddles and kisses. As a result, she at times may not be the most forthcoming when receiving attention, and she may wish to jump out of your arms. (In such cases she prefers to be placed gently on the ground. She is a delicate princess after all.) Don't let this fool you though. While Cissy may like to act aloof, and enjoys doing her own thing, she still loves being in the same room as everyone else, and will always find herself sitting next to you on the couch or laying on your bed, conveniently within arms reach for copious pets and scritches. If she's feeling particularly generous, she may even grace you with a cuddle by your side as well. (Note: this happens essentially every night). Cissy is a well handled and playful kitten, and is a delight to watch as she plays around the house. If you really want to see a sight, be sure to throw a milk bottle cap on the ground, and watch as she practically explodes with excitement. This cannot be stressed enough though, she loves playing with milk bottle caps, and it really is hilarious to see.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
