About Zircon
A note from my foster dad:
While this may seem a cliche to say about a black kitten, Zircon is just a little shadow who loves to follow you about. Every move you make can seem an exciting new experience to her, and it is quite common to look down to see her tiny golden-green eyes staring up at you in sincere curiosity. Just like her sisters, she is a playful, tiny, rambunctious sprite who will frolic the day away, leaping from plush toy to soft cushion as she explores and conquers her world, sometimes falling and rolling about in the process. Ziggy is hilariously contained chaos, zooming from one end of the room to the other, making astounding leaps to catch a plush toy attached to string, or rolling about in cardboard forts as she somersaults and barrel rolls to her own delight. But even in this explosion of energy, she is still just a gentle kitten at the end of the day, who loves finding a warm spot to dose and a gentle hand to shower her with pets. There's nothing quite like having a tired, content kitten gently purr away as she sleeps on your chest, and Ziggy is just the perfect kitten to provide the experience every night.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
