On Hold
About Gene - 8 week old (on trial 01/05/2021)
This little fluffbutt is Gene! Gene is an eight week old teensy charmer who grew up on the mean old streets and found himself - shock! - pound-bound before he even learned his ABC’s. Luckily the clever people there realised this little guy was grade-A best friend material and sent him straight to DRN.
Gene was right at home from the moment he arrived into care. He snuggled, cuddled, and said ‘yo what’s up’ to his foster carer’s pets without a moment’s hesitation. Gene will run up to you whenever he sees you, and settle right onto your feet for some attention. Also quite exciting in this modern age is the fact that Gene is wireless - you don’t need a switch to turn his purr on, just look in his direction and it roars into action. Gene is super playful, and ends every session with a big cuddle, staring lovingly into your eyes.
Gene is a happy, healthy boy who is eager to meet his forever family and give them a big hug. He would be ok with other friendly animals, or gentle children who can keep his little kitten body safe. :)
Gene‘s adoption fee is $250 and this covers his desexing, first vaccination, microchip and flea and worming treatment. Gene is available for adoption to an indoor only home in the Newcastle region so that he can be returned to one of our vets for desexing when he is approximately 4 months old.
