About Ares
Ares is a gorgeous seal-point who is learning day by day that humans are A-OK! He is still a timid little boy who needs a patient and understanding new owner. Adopters must be willing to spend at least 5-6 weeks gaining his trust and building his confidence however he has already come such a long way! He also needs ongoing work on handling. Despite his colouring, resembling a Siamese or a ragdoll, his breed is unknown. His mum is a beautiful tortoiseshell and his siblings look nothing like him. Dad may hold all the answers here.. if we ever find him!
Ares relies a lot on other cat company and will need to be adopted with a friend or to a home with cat-friendly cat who will want to be his pal. He feels much more secure with them. He's also fine with gentle dogs but isn't so keen on bouncy ones.
Once he's comfortable he loves to play, and snuggle. He doesn't mind sleeping on your bed at night or up in his cat tower. He's a healthy boy with a good appetite and super soft coat. How could you say no to those beautiful baby blue eyes?
Ares is a healthy raw fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000012991727, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!

Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
