About Blue
I was surrendered to Lort Smith when my previous carers couldn’t provide me with the time and attention I needed.
I’m a playful, cheeky boy who is full of energy and loves being by my human’s side.
I’m looking for an active but quiet, adults-only home with a committed family that can take me on daily walks and play with me, and who have experience with training and can help me work on some of my behaviours. I need to be the only pet of the household please.
I require a family who can work with me on my resource guarding behaviours around food, toy and bed items. It is a must my adopters are consistent with my training and setting boundaries as this will help set me up for success – I would especially benefit from some one-on-one sessions with a professional behaviourist and crate training.
There are lots of commands I already know, like “stay”, “shake”, “on your bed” or “dance” to name a few!
Due to lack of socialisation when I was younger, I can be a bit nervous when people invade my space, so I need my boundaries to be respected by new people approaching me. I also need help with my manners around other dogs, as sometimes I bark at them on walks and try to pull towards them.
If you think you could provide me with the perfect home, please contact the Lort Smith Adoption Hub.
