Check out this cute video of Abby with Frankie Quartermain ~ link below:
Abby is a lovely cat, she always greets you with a head bump and when relaxed purrs very easily. She is happy being picked up for a cuddle. Being rescued as a stray, Abby has however had a tough life so gets spooked quite easily. She's become more and more relaxed in foster care and is learning to trust that not every bang or loud noise she hears is a threat.
Abby is a vocal girl. She'll let you know she wants something with loud, clear meows.
Abby could be rehomed to a family who already have an adult cat but is just as happy to sleep away the day on her own. From the moment she saw her foster sibling through the glass door she was interested in being her friend but she gets annoyed when her foster sister is too playful and energetic. A relaxed adult cat would make a lovely companion for Abby.
At this stage, because Abby still gets startled by loud noises, we believe she'd be happiest with an older family or adult household.
Abby will be a wonderful companion. She has been a loving and protective mum, now it is her turn to be shown the love she is so very deserving of.
Abby is litter trained.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
