Starlight is a very pretty ginger girl who has had a bit of a rough start to life and is now looking for a life of comfort and love with her person.

Starlight came into our care with three small kittens in tow. She and her little fur family were rescued from a shed in a backyard in Beaconsfield however help didn’t arrive in time to save one of her kittens from starvation.

Starlight was undernourished when she arrived with us because she was doing all she could to keep her kittens alive – at the expense of looking after herself. This selfless mumma did an amazing job given the tough circumstances, and her kittens have grown up strong.

Now that her kittens have moved on, Starlight is in need of a selfless someone to take care of her. She is barely out of kittenhood herself (she’s just over 9 months old) and she is a very small cat.

Starlight has been gaining weight since being in our care, however she’ll need someone to fatten her up and spoil her with treats and all the yummy things other cats enjoy. In return, Starlight will shower you with love.

Despite the rough start, Starlight is a very loving girl. She will bond with her person and soak up all the affection you can give her, returning the feelings with her quiet purrs and soft meows.

Starlight needs a quiet home where she is the only cat. She is untested on dogs but given how super protective she was of her kittens, we do not think she would do well in a home with a dog.

Starlight will do well with a single person or couple who are at home quite a bit. If you work from home part-time, that would be perfect. She would also do well with a family but with older teenage children as she really likes her quiet time.

Your lap is her favourite place to be. She is an excellent movie-watching companion, can happily keep you company while you binge watch your favourite shows or provide great companionship to an older person in need of a wonderful sweetheart to adore.

This rare beauty is grateful for all she is given. She is a good eater (not especially fussy but she is still a cat!) and she uses the litter well. Starlight is at home in a home, and has learnt very good manners and how to behave properly indoors.
