About Koda
A very sad young lady had to give her dog up as she and her mother had rented a place on a blueberry farm and were told for hygiene reasons they could not have their dog with them. Koda is a very pleasant young man with good manners, loves people although when he first meets you he is a little shy, once he gets to know you, you become his best mate. He seems to get on with other animals particularly other dogs. He is a fairly laid back gentle young man and would make a lovely family pet.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
