About Barwon
Hi there, I'm Barwon, a 6 month old black and tan kelpie puppy with incredible ears! Foster Mum says I'm clever and full of life.
I had a rough start to life so didn't get the handling or socialisation most pups would. That being said, since coming into care I have gone from strength to strength. I love the other dogs and running and playing with them. I like using my brain and will work for my food and treats.
I'm not scared of the lead anymore and am coming along with my walking, but this will need patience and continued training. My recall is coming along ok too, better if I know you have yummy treats!
My forever family must be experienced with the breed, have another active doggy sibling for me to play with and be committed to continuing on building my confidence and working on my manners and training.
I haven't been around cats, have met 9 and 8 year old kids and did warm up to them, I can still be jumpy! I can be quite vocal so probably won't suit if you have neighbours right on top of you.
If you think you can give me a loving and committed home to fulfil my needs, then apply by completing the adoptions form.
Love and licks,
Barwon x

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
