On Hold
I am an energetic little boy, who would love for my new family to have some understanding of keeping rabbits as companion pets. We really are clever species and require lots of handling and interaction with our people.
Ideally, I would go to a home where I can spend most of the time indoors, but also have time outside, in a large safe run just for me.
Rabbits love to hop, run and stretch their legs, and are rather playful, so I would not like to be placed in a small hutch as I am quite social and have so much energy, and love to bounce around.
I first came into Lort Smith as a teeny tiny baby rabbit, I was lucky enough to go into foster care with one of the vets here, until I was big enough to be able to have been desexed.
I love eating my greens, hay and pellets - we rabbits have specific diet requirements. I am litter trained as well so I'm very good at housekeeping!
