About Lucas
Adoption Fee: $300
Lucas is a quiet, reserved little man. He is shy at first but ones he gets to know you he is very active and loves to play with you or on his own. He likes to explore all the hiding spots around the house and will tend to find a nice quiet, dark place to sleep if you let him. He isn't so much of a cuddle cat but likes to to be in arm's reach of you so that he can come over and say hello if he wants.
Lucas has recently found his voice and will also come and look for you to say hello.
He shares his foster home with another cat, his siblings, and has met his carer's nieces and nephews and a very placid old border collie.
If this sweet little soul makes your heart melt, maybe Lucas is the one for you!
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first F3 vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age (see list below).
*This kitten will require a booster vaccination to complete the vaccination course. These will be at the cost of the new owner (not included in the adoption fee).
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
As this kitten is under 6 months old, one of the following approved vet clinics should be selected by the adopter to arrange for his/her sterilisation by the age of 6 months. The sterilisation surgery is included in the adoption fee:
Blair Street Veterinary Hospital, Bunbury
Busselton Veterinary Hospital, Busselton
Ninth Street Vet Clinic, Harvey
Halls Head Small Animal Clinic, Halls Head
Caryn Vet Hospital, Edgewater
Kingsley Veterinary Hospital, Kingsley
Ocean Keys Vet, Clarkson
South Metropolitan TAFE Vet Clinic, Bentley (during semester)
Swan Veterinary Hospital, Midvale
Albany Vet Hospital, Albany
Swans Vet Service, Esperance
Please ask us for more information on arranging sterilisation of your pet if you live outside the Bunbury area.
