About Ellie
Hi guys!
I’m Ellie and I’m dying to meet you! No, I’m not a drama queen (at all) but just wanting to make sure I get your undivided attention ;)
When I was rescued I had been through many not so nice situations and I was terrified of getting hurt by people. Once my foster parents came into my life, I discovered how nice it is to be loved and I, now, absolutely adore life and everyone I meet.
Sadly, as all rescue pups know, the longer it takes us to find a fur_ever home, the more of our fur friends don’t get lucky enough to be rescued in time, so, as much as I love it here, I cannot be selfish and have to find a family that will love me for the rest of my days.
Like any special pupper, there are a few things that I will definitely need in my new home so I can enjoy my life in full.
First off, my people should love me while understanding I am a dog and not a human and I will need to be called upon when doing naughty things. Really, I have been trained to not do those a lot, but a confident family that keeps reminding me when I step on it is very important. I love older respectful children but can get afraid when little ones scream or run past me without warning.
Although I am good with other dogs, my best family would give me undivided attention in a house I don’t have to share. Also, ideally I wouldn’t be left alone for long as I really love my human company. Pussy cats are fast and smell funny so I don’t like them.
I will need some exercise but I’m not picky where I walk as long as it is calm. So, if you have a decent yard you can easily walk me on your PJs and I will be a happy camper.
As I haven’t been very exposed to all that life has to offer, a calm neighbourhood would really see me thrive as I, sometimes, still get a bit scared by big groups of people or a lot of traffic.
A secure 6 foot (1.8 meter) or higher fence is a must so I am safe at all times, especially when left alone because, after all, I'm almost 30 kg.
I am currently living in Windsor and that is where you’ll come to meet me when my foster parents are available.
I really hope that pouring my heart out to you here will get you to contact my rescue and adopt me into your family. I can’t wait!
