Humphrey & Lucy ~(On Trial 5/7/21)

What can I say? How can you not fall in love with these two. Humphrey & Lucy came into care from a neglect situation several months ago. Severely matted, underweight, suffering dental disease and battling infections. These two delightful darlings have come a long
way and are now eager for their forever home.

Humphrey is a 13yo male Mini Poodle x, he is an old fashioned gentleman with a soft temperament. Humphrey has had all his teeth extracted so he requires a soft diet,
however his appetite knows no bounds, he loves all things food, especially treats.

Humphrey wants to be inside on the couch with the family, and spends large parts of his day sleeping in his bed, however Humphrey still enjoys getting out of the house for a short walk every morning to explore his neighbourhood. He loves scratches and enjoys being carried and has shown no aggression towards his foster carers and the many dogs he has met and cohabitated with.

Lucy is an 8yo female Maltese x Chihuahua with lots of energy! Lucy is a pocket rocket who loves zooming up and down the hallways and climbing all over. She is a ball of love who captures everyone's heart. Lucy weighs 3.4kgs, and has had most teeth removed so we have been feeding her a soft diet, but she has been seen sneaking hard biscuits from time to time. When Lucy came into care she had a perforated left eardrum, we believe this, or severe
matting, has resulted in a head tilt which may resolve over time.

Lucy is a clumsy girl who often trips over herself. She enjoys being cuddled and carried. She occasionally barks and growls but hasn’t shown any aggression towards people or other dogs. She has a gentle nature and wants to be with you all the time.

Humphrey and Lucy belong to each other, they seem to manage well being left alone if they are together. They have been sleeping together in a backroom of their foster carers
house happily for the last few months. They have not been tested with cats or pocket pets.

Humphrey & Lucy's adoption fee is $650 and includes desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and microchipping.
