About Marian
Good day to you dear hooman, I am the world renowned Marian, and I am here waiting for the very best kind of person to come and adopt me, is that you?
I came to the RSPCA as a stray after a lovely person found me on the streets and brought me in. It has been a bit strange for me, I get a warm bed, yummy food, pats, cuddles and apparently that stuff gets even better once I have a home of my own! Can you even imagine???
I am a very laid back cat and don't ask for much. However as repayment for giving me a home of my own I will give you lots of purrs, and snuggles and always be waiting for you when you get home each day. I really can't wait to have a hooman all of my own, I will be the bestest cat ever.
Boy, have I had a rough time! I have recovered from cat flu. It is very similar to what a cold looks like in humans but it is a cat only strain, so you don't have to worry about me making you sick.. If I go home with other felines it would be best if they were fully vaccinated before I came home. I will need to be kept an indoor only cat for the rest of my life. I was also treated for conjunctivitis. This is an inflammation of the soft membrane in my eye. The nice vets treated me with some eye cream and now I am all better. While I was in care at the RSPCA I was treated for a fungal infection called ringworm, which is the same as athletes foot. I had to have medicine and weird smelling baths to treat it. Plus I had to have 2 different skin test to confirm that I am definitely all better but I am happy to report that I am now completely ringworm free!
So if you think that you are the amazing person I have been waiting for, a person I can shower love on for the rest of my life, please come and talk to the staff about me already!
