About Louicq
Bonjour! My name is Louicq and I’m a very handsome 9 year old Havanese.
I’m looking for a human soul mate to follow around and adore and spend most of my day with - I’m not a huge fan of being left alone for too long so I’m hoping for someone who’s home a lot. I won’t bark and carry on, I’m far too distinguished for that, however I’ll whine and make you feel extremely guilty.
I love long walks and getting lots of attention, almost as much as I love food! Yes, I would consider myself a foodie, I’ll eat just about anything and I’m not too distinguished to steal food when nobodies looking! Due to my love of food, I’ve got a bit of a ‘dad bod’, but I’m working on it ok... I’ll just need a little bit of help with my self control, and those long walks we are going to share will help too.
I’m very well trained, I’m practically human - I’ll let you know if I’m hungry or want to go for a walk, but I usually just want to be snuggled up with you. Im not really interested in toys but I do know some tricks and commands and I’m very obedient and will come when you call me. I’m pretty much perfect!
I currently live with other dogs and cats in my foster home and to be honest, I really dont like the cat. I can be an only dog or live with others, as long as I get most of the attention, ok? I’m a very friendly boy and seem to like everyone I’ve met so far, and as long as I have a human to love and some food in my tummy, I’ll be your best friend forever.
Medical notes
9 year old Louicq 9 year old Louicq came to us with some skin dermatitis and conjunctivitis in his eyes. This was resolved with a short course of antibiotics. We would suggest keeping an eye on his skin and eyes as sometimes these issues can be recurring.
He does have some typical age related arthritis so we recommend keeping him on a daily joint support supplement such as Osteocare joint chews or similar. He also needs to lose weight - this will help his joints and his overall health, so he needs someone who will continue his walks and monitor his food consumption.
Otherwise he is in great health for a senior dog and is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heart worm negative and up to date with flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.came to us with some skin dermatitis and conjunctivitis in his eyes.
