About Ruby
Hey pals, I’m Ruby!
I have a lot of love to give and looooove cuddles! I do have a few skin markings in heart shape to remind you of that. 💜
My foster mom says I’m a clever girl and learn quickly. I can do the basics and wait patiently for my food every time. At my foster home I’m allowed inside at any time and would love to continue that, so I can spend as much time as possible with you. I even like to follow you to the bathroom.
My favourite hobbies are:
Sunbathing, car rides, eating treats and walks.
I’m great on the lead, but still need some help to not get too excited when I see other dogs on walks, but I get better at that every day.
I think I’d love someone to be with me most of the day, but am also well behaved if I’m left alone for a few hours.
I do enjoy my crate and can sleep in there or just chill out, but of course would prefer to be with you on the couch watching TV.
A home with small children, cats or smaller animals would be a challenge as I love to chase things, but I can get used to another dog with slow introduction.
If you are looking for a loyal companion with lots of love to give, I’m the one! I hope to get to know you soon!

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
