About Hugo
Hugo came to the RSPCA as a stray. We have some prior history. I'm a young boy looking for an experienced owner with my Maremma breed. I've still got lots of puppy tendencies and need someone to put in the hard yards with me.
I love being with people so I'd like to stay inside with you. Sleeping inside at night makes me feel safe. If I have to stay home alone, enrichments like Kong toys, bones to chew, and toys for me to play with will keep me entertained until you get home. I'm an escape artist, so I'll need a fully enclosed and secure yard to play in. I need a patient home where I can be given time to feel safe and learn all about the world. Unfortunately little kids and a busy home might be a bit too much for me. I might be happy living with a friendly desexed female dog.

Adoption details
RSPCA Victoria operates on an adoption-by-application model. When browsing our available animals, there is an option to submit an application to adopt. Once an application has been submitted, the applicant will be contacted with information on next steps. Please note we will be unable to book adoption appointments at our sites unless this application has been received.
