"Hey there, my name's Wasabi! I'm only a small boy who has recently been rescued from the big bad streets, and I'm super grateful for that because my brother Tofu was so unwell and needed help. I started off a little unsure and scared of these big tall things you call "hoomans" and would give a little hiss when one came near me, but that didn't last long because after only a few short days I became a real cuddly little boy. I just can't get enough of my foster mum, she is a real superstar for saving me and my brothers. I came here shy and scared but I'm leaving with a bit more confidence and looking forward to bonding with my soul mates and forever people. When first meeting you I may still give you a hiss until I realise that you're just another snuggle buddy, but it's only to protect myself (and while I don't like to admit it, it's totally for show!) My foster mum calls me "all talk no action" because of it, because as soon as you start patting me I turn into a purring puddle of love.

I think it's great when you lay down because I feel extra happy as I crawl over you, purring and nuzzling my face into your own. I guess I'm what you would call the perfect thunder buddy! I am also a very playful boy and can happily play independently all day, but the company of my brother Tofu is always best. I like my hidey holes also, especially during the day where I sleep contently in them. I'm expected to still be a tiny bit shy when meeting new people, but foster mum will tell you the best way to get my attention. How's about it? Would you give me a chance? (and maybe my brother too!).

Wasabi has adjusted well to his new environment and enjoys the company of his siblings and foster friends. He also lives with an extra large dog who he has bonded well with, so would do well in a home with dogs that were cat friendly. Wasabi would love to be adopted with his brother Tofu, and their adoption fee will be reduced to $400 for the pair to go home together.

Wasabi's adoption fee includes sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, health check and he has also been treated for parasites.

Medical Note: Wasabi was exposed to cat flu, a common respiratory disease in cats. The virus attacks the respiratory tract and eyes. He has since recovered from his illness and is doing well. He may or may not be a carrier of the virus. Other cats within his living space should be up to date with vaccines.
