About Harry
Hey everyone, I'm Harry!
I am a handsome lad who is looking for a special home.
Myself and several other cats were found living at a property on our own and bought to BARC.
With lots of love and TLC the staff are now happy that I am ready to start looking for my forever home.
I am seeking a home with someone who has experience with cats who are just getting used to living a domesticated life. I want to be loved, and I was to be trusting it just takes me a little while to get there. Loud noises and sudden moves can startle me and make me want to run away so I am seeking a calm, quite and loving home environment that can continue to nurture me into becoming the wonderfully well adjusted young adult that I so want to be.
I have so much love to give!
I prefer not to be around other cats as they tend to overwhelm me if they get too close. I would also not be suitable for children or homes with inside boisterous/playful dogs as that would just terrify me.
If you're the special someone that I am seeking then please call BARC on (03) 5441 2209 to make a time to come and meet me.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
