Maurice ~ 6 month old kitten (on trial 9/6/21)

Meet Maurice! He is a joy to have around and absolutely loves everyone he meets. You don’t want to miss out on this special guy.

Maurice is absolutely bomb-proof and would thrive in a busy house. He loves to explore and find things to play with around the house and other times he likes to hang out and play with his human and animal companions. As well as being very entertaining, Maurice is veeeeery affectionate and will start purring if you even look in his direction.

Maurice is practically a dog and will follow you around the house, will come when he's called, will chase his toys if you throw them, and will stand up on his back legs to put his paws on you and get some head scratches if you stand still for too long. As soon as you sit down on the lounge, Maurice will jump up next to you and fall asleep on your lap in 10 seconds flat.

Maurice is always playing and is very good at keeping himself entertained. He will find anything to use as a toy including bits of plastic, cardboard boxes, clothing tags, loose socks, and toiletries from the bathroom vanity. Cat toys are good too but to Maurice, life is a toy!

Maurice currently lives with 2 adult cats and several other foster kittens who he gets along great with. He came from a home with 2 dogs and has met several other dogs (large and small) in foster care and has always been grateful for a new friend after some initial hesitation.

Maurice is currently in foster care with his friend Moira who is blind. These two found each other on the streets and Maurice became Moira’s security blanket. They are available for adoption together or separately as they both form attachments with other cats very easily so won’t miss each other too much if separated.

Maurice is a happy and healthy 6 month old kitten who is housetrained and eating well. Maurice is in foster care in Shortland, NSW and is available for adoption to an indoor-only home.
