Hi, my name is WOMBAT [Womby] and I am a Blue Heeler who you can't help but love my quirky personality

I am a definite ball of fun who still needs to continue learning my basics but i'm doing well

I have tested very well with a submissive female dog and would be fine to live with one

During my walks I ignore other dogs and just trot along beside you

As most dogs do, I get excited to go for a walk and will pull at the start but once in the groove I walk well

I definitely need a home where I will get a daily walk and some stimulation or as most Heelers do Ill probably get bored and chew something up

I haven't been tested with kids but we can't see there being a problem , as long as the kids are dog savvy and can ensure that when he jumps in excitement they can ask him to sit

Wombat has NOT been tested with cats so will not be going to a cat home

He is fine to be left at home alone as long as he is kept entertained with enrichment

I currently live with my foster family of two adults and I just love their company.

The day that I arrived at my foster parents I wanted to explore the whole of the inside and outside of the house and it took me a couple of days before I could get my bearings but have settled in well since.

I still need a little training as I am still learning commands like Sit, Stay and Eat but each day I am getting better, but I come to you if you whistle me.

I enjoy my meals, twice a day.

My daily activities include going for a walk, sun baking, and chasing the occasional bird that lands in the backyard. At night I have my meal around 7pm, then it's time to snuggle up to whoever is sitting down first, it does not matter who, I just love being close to someone then it is off to bed around 10pm in the Laundry.

I get excited when I have not seen my foster parents when they go out, I guess it is because I like company and happy to see them return.

I travel well in a car. I don’t get car sick and would enjoy trips out with my new family.

My foster parents think I would be suited to any family as I love everybody that visits them young children over ten or a couples.

I am a happy boy who will hopefully soon be the most loving member of your family.
