About Gigi ~ 8 week old kitten (on trial 08/05/2021)
Gigi is a sweet but shy girl who loves a snuggle. She has the most gorgeous aqua eyes and torti splatters of colour around her little face, she’s just so cute!
Gigi is quiet and reserved, but being the runt of the litter she isn’t scared to fend for herself when needed. She loves to run, jump, pounce and play.
Gigi and her siblings were found in a back yard, abandoned by their mum at 2.5weeks old. Even though she had a rough start, she took to bottle feeding well and after a bit of coaxing was able to eat solids not long after her bigger siblings.
Gigi enjoys her food and isn’t fussy, and she uses the litter tray well.
Gigi can often be vocal when her older siblings are picking on her or if she is “lost” around the house and can’t find her human. Gigi is needy for cuddles and attention. She loves her humans, especially laying on their necks and shoulders until she falls asleep.
Gigi loves quiet, snuggly places to curl up and sleep the day away. She loves playing on the small cat tower but isn’t brave enough to climb far. She scratches on the scratching pole and will play in the cat tunnel all day.
Gigi is skittish around young children and isn’t a big fan of loud noises. Gigi enjoys the company of her foster fur siblings, both cat and dog, but will get scared if the dogs bark.
Gigi would best suit a home with children over 12 who can respect her boundaries and be very gentle with her.
Gigi could benefit from another cat or dog for company but they would need to be calm.
DRN cats and kittens must be inside only unless you have a cat enclosure that they can have some outside time in.
Since Gigi is too young to be desexed she will need to be adopted locally in the Newcastle, Central Coast or Hunter area so she can be returned before she is 4 months to a DRN approved vet for desexing which is included in her adoption fee as well as microchipping and first kitten vaccination. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is located in Morisset.
If you are interested in meeting Gigi, please complete the below questionnaire.
