About Ash ~ 8 week old (on trial 27/04/2021)
Meet Ash! This little guy is a very confident, independent kitten who is very quick to come for a cuddle. Such gorgeous big eyes and amazing tabby markings, you cannot go past this little man.
Ash and his siblings were found in a back yard, abandoned by their mum at 2.5weeks old. Even though he had a rough start, he took to bottle feeding and later solids like a champ and is the biggest of his siblings and very food driven.
Ash LOVES food and is not fussy. He will always tell you when you’re even 1 minute late for any meal time with lots of chattering and meowing. Ash was the first to learn to use the litter tray and is successfully litter trained with no accidents.
Ash doesn’t mind independently playing and spending time alone, but will always seek a cuddle and expect lots of pats. Ash will come and snuggle right near you, with some part of his body or paw on you to know you’re there. Once he is comfortable you won’t be able to turn off his jet power purr engine.
Ash is very playful and loves a tummy scratch, he will lay on his back for ages letting you scratch his belly and under his chin. He will play on his climbing tower, scratching pole or with toys. He also loves the laser pointer and playing in the cat tunnel. So long as you have toys and structures, this boy will have endless fun.
Ash is good with others cats and is comfortable around dogs. Ash loves playing with his foster fur siblings of both species and enjoys their company for cuddles. Ash can get spooked around younger children so will need to go to a home with gentle kids primary school aged and over.
Ash would benefit from another cat or dog who is cat friendly for company.
DRN cats and kittens must be inside only unless you have a cat enclosure that they can have some outside time in.
Since Ash is too young to be desexed he will need to be adopted locally in the Newcastle, Central Coast or Hunter area so they can be returned before they are 4 months to a DRN approved vet for desexing which is included in their adoption fee as well as microchipping and first kitten vaccination. His adoption fee is $250.
Ash is located in Singleton. If you are interested in meeting Ash, please complete the below questionnaire.
