About Oak
Adopt me
Oak - Our Gentle Giant
Oak is part of the Bull Mastiff litter that Willow Tree Sanctuary saved from certain death a few weeks ago. All 8 pups were skinny and neglected and had little contact with humans.
They have since thrived in our care, put weight on and learnt to trust and love their foster humans. They are now excitedly ready to find their perfect forever homes.
Oak is the biggest and the softest of the litter. He is calm and gentle and seems to have a wisdom that suggests he has been here before. We love him to bits and know whoever he chooses as his forever family, will be so lucky.
He sleeps a lot like all puppies, but will have those crazy puppy bursts of energy and then fall in a heap on your lap. Yes, he does want to be a lap dog and to be near his loved ones at all times. So if you are thinking of getting a dog to leave outside and not be part of the family, look away now, Oak is not for you! He is smoochy and attached, a real people's dog.
Will you let Oak share your home and heart, inside and out? And will you take him to obedience classes so he can become the very best version of himself as he learns to negotiate this human world? And will you take him on long walks to stretch those long legs? And will you commit to him for life - even if he does puppy things like chews your favourite shoe?
If so, apply now and we will arrange a meet and greet.
*While under the care of Willow Tree Sanctuary, our dogs are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested (6 months+), treated monthly for parasites and have any other necessary vet treatment required.
