About Drone
Drone is an adorable 16 month old Labrador X who was surrendered here at BARC with his brother Snipes (who has already found a home).
Snipes was an energetic, popular and enigmatic individual who shone in the limelight and relished on attention, from not only people but also other dogs...especially the girls... and Drone here has grown tired of living in his shadow and wants some of that attention for himself. Hence the brothers have decided to go their own separate ways and each focus on a Solo career.
Active and fit, sometimes shy, but with all the love in the world to give Drone here would love to join a family with kids older than 10 who can be calm and patient with him and allow him to find his confidence and individual personality.
Eager to please this boy would love to do some form of training and already has the basics down. Being a lab means that Drone here is quite food oriented and was excited to hear that Bendigo is now the City of Gastronomy. If you are a local he looks forward to be able to joining you on your times out enjoying the local culinary experiences.
If you think you can provide this beautiful boy with a loving home which allows him to develop on his journey of self discovery please call the Bendigo Animal Relief Centre on 5441-2209 to arrange to meet with this boy.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
