About Alice β
This absolute sweetheart and complete snuggle bug is Alice, our 14 week old Great Dane x Bull Arab mix π
She is currently in care with 1 of her siblings and living with multiple host dogs who she gets along great with. Alice craves human attention and just loves hanging out with you, whether that be on your lap (yes, she thinks sheβs a lap dog π), or following you around the garden. She is a very relaxed girl who will love you with all her heart. Alice would do well in a home with or without another dog, but does love the company of her humans.... She is an active/intelligent pup and will need plenty of enrichment toys, exercise and mental stimulation to keep her mind busy. Her only exposure to cats has been at the vet clinic (where her foster mum works), but she didnβt take much notice of them, so may be fine to live alongside them if introduced correctly.
Alice is doing well with toilet training, and had no accidents inside at her foster home. She sleeps alongside her sister (Betty) and host dogs in the lounge room at night with no issues.
Alice is a very smart girl, she is already sitting on command and learning to wait/stay. She travels well in the car, enjoys training time (with treats), and loves meeting new people and kids. She is learning not to jump up on people, but still needs reminding when excited.
We would love to see Alice find a home where she had the company and guidance of another dog and experienced dog owners. She is very trainable and settled nicely into her foster home. She has the 'Puppy dog eyes' mastered and will win you over in a heartbeat!
Alice will be a large dog when fully grown, so you would need to be prepared for this. She will need a medium to large size yard with height appropriate fencing, and a home where she will be treated as part of the family π¨βπ¨βπ§βπ§ππ She is fair around her black nose so you will need to be sun safe with her in the summer months by applying sun cream to her nose to help prevent skin cancer.
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Alice will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl.
Due to Aliceβs size/breed, we will be allowing her to be re-homed under a desex agreement. This will mean that Alice must be returned to one of our approved vets on the Central Coast for desexing, no later than 30th June 2021 (6 months old). We have consulted a number of vets who have all confirmed this is an appropriate age for the breed/size. For this reason, there will be no interstate adoptions and we will be ideally looking for a home on the Central Coast.
She is located in Bateau Bay on the Central Coast NSW and ready to find her forever home now.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
